Fund administration of the student’s monthly contributions
Graduate Fund’s competitive advantage of being the only investment business that provides such services to students in South Africa.
Get all students at institutions of higher learning (both private and public) to sign up with the Graduate Fund. This includes students who are funded by NSFAS, Motsepe Foundation, Anglo, GCRA etc .
This can be done once-off to allow growth of the portfolio set-up and we have a month to month payments where the fund will have interest compounded monthly. Any adjustments done during the course of year either deregistering/new recipients, we will capture them and update them in our books.
How we work with our students
Graduate Fund will get a portion from the investments made on an annual basis. When a student completes their studies, communication will be sent out for claims to the fund managers and necessary FICA documentation will be collected from graduates, i.e., Statement of Academic record, ID book and Banking Details.
Students will be allowed to claim in an event of completion of studies. In an event of death, the pay-out will be made to the parents/guardians. In an event of academic exclusion and straight drop out, Graduate Fund will take a surrender fee of 30% of the matured amount that the student has and pay out 70% to the student.
In an event where a student is financially excluded but still active at school, the fund will be on hold for at least a year.
